QA/QC

Purpose of the Role:

To control the quality of Civil work carried out by the Contractor or carried out by Contractor. Including supporting business improvement and technical advisors including update SOP & Provide new SOP for new hand tools and others

Accountabilities:

Implementing Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring work environment conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets.

Arrange, review, collect, understand and apply the quality standards of Civil work in accordance with the standards of PTVI.

Create and implement a QA/QC program for Civil work work under the coordination of the PTVI Construction Services Department

to maintain the quality of work results both in the construction process and the results.

Monitor the performance (performance) of the quality of Civil work construction work based on the QA/QC program by systematically conducting inspections and tests in accordance with work steps to achieve quality work in accordance with specifications and standards. Able to provide technical analysis of matters relating to mechanical construction work.

Technical Advisor, constructability review Civil work, work method

Arranging training programs for Civil work and safety construction disciplines related to Civil work including acting as instructors in workshops in the field of construction work in an effort to get a solid mechanical construction team with high technical and safety skills.

Review the constructability aspects of Civil work packages before the construction phase.

Creating a construction method for Civil work as part of continuous improvement with the goal is the achievement of safe and effective work execution to achieve time and cost targets.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil or electical engineering field from reputable university.

Has solid experience at least 3 years in inspection and management of multi-discipline construction works

HSE: Ensures health and safety in the work environment. Champions the importance of health and safety and ensures that others comply. Takes a longer term perspective in identifying and correcting potential problems. Ensures that all needed health and safety training is up to date for the department.

Presentation skills: Shows passion and emotion in delivery; talks about personal experience. Completes audience analysis prior to creating presentation to ensure the presentation is focused on what will interest the audience. Creates visual aids to reinforce the message. Encourages questions; restates questions before answering.

Time Management: Uses time effectively to balance emphasis on relationships and on goals. Spends time on the important things that are not urgent so they don't become urgent. Spends time building relationships for the future. Spends time looking for new opportunities. Spends time on prevention of problems.

English: Reads, writes, and speaks English easily, may require some translation of difficult concepts.

Report writing: States a thesis and presents data in a way that supports it (e.g. an annual overview of a business unit's performance). Explicitly identifies and responds to reader concerns in the report. Uses charts, tables and spacing effectively to help reader grasp large amounts or complex information.
